If your cycles are irregular, no app can predict ovulation

Apps extrapolate from past cycles. When cycles vary, the maths cannot work — clinic monitoring is the faster route.

Period apps calculate from your last start date and the trend of past cycles — nothing more. If cycles vary, the maths cannot work. Behind irregularity lies either ovulation that shifts widely, or bleeding without ovulation at all.

What you can do now

With irregular cycles, tracking follicles by ultrasound at a clinic is both faster and more reliable than persevering alone.
